Access to Optional Educational Opportunities During School Closure

At this time, TUSD is providing access to educational opportunities that are optional for students. These are very general packets and will not address the multitude of course offerings at school sites. These optional educational materials are in English language Arts and Mathematics for grades K-12. 

The optional educational material packets will be provided for K-12 students in English language arts and mathematics, along with a recommended daily routine schedule. The district will not expect students to submit completed work, nor teachers to grade work that is submitted, as families may not have the resources to complete the packets. Upon returning to school, students will not be required to take assessments involving the district provided packets. Under no circumstances should teachers be meeting with students to collect packets.

For any students and families that prefer printed packets, hard copies will be available for pick-up at all school sites on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
