Hey Wolf Pack! My name is Annabelle Lee and I have been fortunate to be given the opportunity to serve as the new principal of #WestHighBestHigh.  I have been a part of the Wolf Pack for the past three years and look forward to continuing to enrich the relationships between students, staff, and our community.

CALIFORNIA COLLEGES WITH GRADUATES TOSS CAPS

It's hard to believe it's November already. We're halfway through the application period for many CSUs. UC has just opened its application. The FAFSA/CADAA applications are open as well, and the earlier students apply, the more likely they are to get the financial aid they need for college.

COVID 19 VACCINE WITH NEEDLE

There will be COVID 19 VACCINE Clinics at
the following locations and dates:

 

1. NORTH SCHOOL, 2875 HOLLY DRIVE
NEW HOURS: MONDAY, NOV. 29TH 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

2. MONTE VISTA MIDDLE SCHOOL, ROOM 1, 751 LOWELL DR
 MONDAY, DEC. 20TH 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

3. MONTE VISTA MIDDLE SCHOOL, ROOM 1, 751 LOWELL DR
 MONDAY, JAN. 10TH 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Ages 5-11: Do not make appt, walk-ins only

Ages 12 and up:  Can make appt or walk-in

For 12 or older, you may call 1-844-987-6115 to
schedule an appointment at the
"Pop Up Clinic at North School"

We are having a separate clinic at the same
location for Ages 5-11.  If you are bringing
a 5 to 11 year-old for a vaccine,  you do not
make an appointment, you simply show
up between 12-7:00 p.m.

Applications for AVID are now live!  If your 8th grader is interested in being in the AVID program at Kimball, Tracy, or West High Schools please take a look at the videos and submit an application.

SHOW KINDESS WITH RAINBOW

The TUSD Anti-bullying Committee has developed a district-wide kindness project to spread the kindness in our community:

October- Introduce yourself to someone new!
November-Thank a staff member at your school site!
December-Give someone-anyone, a compliment!
January-Set your own kindness resolution and share it with someone!
February-Write card and mail it to someone who is not expecting it!
March-Post a sticky note with a kind message on car, desk, or locker!
April-Spend 15 minutes doing something you love!
May-Call or text someone you care about a nice message!

COVID 19 TESTING

FREE COVID TESTING

TUSD is now offering no-cost COVID-19 testing for students and families. Our team of nurses is testing at the following locations Monday through Friday:

THANKSGIVING WEEK UPDATE: Our free COVID-19 testing will be available to our families and to the public next week on Monday and Tuesday only, from 8am – 6pm, only at Tracy Charter School, located at 1904 N. Corral Hollow behind the district office. You can register on site and you will not be charged for testing. Take care and have a great Thanksgiving.

*Tracy Independent Study Charter School (TISCS) parking lot
  1904 N. Corral Hollow Rd (8am–6pm).

*Tracy High School parking lot
  315 E. 11th Street (9am-6pm)

*Kimball High School parking lots
  3200 Jaguar Run (9am–6pm)

COVID PROCEDURE CHANGES

Please read the parent letter regarding changes in notification procedures..

Please call the school office if your child is experiencing COVID symptoms or if they have tested positive for COVID.

The parent letter is in both English and Spanish

and can be VIEWED HERE.

You can find this letter along with our COVID flyer and Hotline number on our DISTRICT COVID PAGE.

COVID SCREENING

Ask yourself the following 3 questions every day:

If a student, employee or essential visitor answers “YES” to any of the above questions, they should: STAY HOME!

1. Do I have any of the following symptoms that are new or worsening?
  Fever or chills; Headache; Sore throat; New loss of taste or smell; Muscle or body aches; Diarrhea; Nausea or vomiting; Cough; Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; Congestion or runny nose

2. Have I or anyone in my household been confirmed/suspected with COVID-19 in the last 14 days??

3. If unvaccinated: Have I been notified that I am a close contact* with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
